Anida

Name: Anida Saia Vetch (Often nicknamed 'Annie' )
Age: 17
Race: Human

On his way home from a trading trip to a mostly human and very racist city in the North, goat Terran Aren Barek Vetch discovered a human child that had been left in his bags. Being a kind-hearted man, he took the baby back to his wife Anaia Sera Vetch in his small Southern town of Veraki'i and they agreed to raise her as their own. The only thing the baby had with her was a soft, well-made raccoon golem. Based on the quality of said golem and her purple eyes, her adoptive parents developed the theory that she may be the bastard daughter of a high-ranking official who, ashamed of this fact, resolved to send her away with a stranger.
The kind citizens of Veraki'i welcomed the babe with open arms, for race meant next to nothing to them. As with all the children of the village, many of the adults helped her along.
She is a very well-mannered, soft-hearted girl, always willing to believe the best of everyone. She loves her family more than anyone else in the world and is ever thankful that her 'real' parents sent her in this particular Terran's bags. Above all else, she wishes that her golem, Deki, could truly live and think and feel.
She works with her parents and brothers in the small village Inn, serving drinks and food and sweeping the floors. Many of the young men of Veraki'i come to the Inn often to watch her, however, she is oblivious to their flirting. The only romantic interest she's ever had is in her lifelong best friend Lee, and even that is only just beginning to develop.

Bennett and Dixon

Names: Bennett Aradi Vetch and Dixon Telide Vetch (twins)
Age: 19
Race: Terran
Species: Goat

Bennett and Dixon are the sons of Anaia Sera Vetch and Aren Barek Vetch, which instantly gains them a reputation for mischief- it's in the Vetch blood. However, unlike most twins, they prefer going solo. The only problem with this is that they're too similar: they often end up playing the same joke on the same person at the same time! This has forced into going to their sister every time this happens to referee their arguments, else they'll both end up in pain.
While they have always been fairly good-natured, Bennett and Dixon rarely get along and are usually butting heads (often literally). Whenever their mother catches them fighting indoors, she chases them out with a wooden spoon and refuses them their supper that night. Nevertheless, they'll do anything - including work together - for their little sister.
The only time they ever do honest work is when they work in the Inn - it is, strangely enough, the one thing they both truly love to do. They serve food and drinks, cook, and bake. Because of this shared love, Anida strongly believes that they can learn to get along, and will one day take over the Inn and keep it better than any other Vetch ever has.
Dixon has a longstanding relationship with a quiet Terran tiger girl, but the constant female attention that the twins get makes Bennett shy and uncomfortable.

Lee

Name: Lee Tekkit Scorin
Age: 17
Race: Terran
Species: Grizzly bear

Lee is a sweet, thoughtful, humourous lug that befriended Annie the day they met and has remained her best friend since. His large, strong appearance attracts a fair amount of female attention, but his dorky nature quickly throws them off. He's had a crush on Annie for a long time, but he doesn't mind that she's never noticed.
His father and his grandfather and essentially every other Scorin male before him has been a blacksmith all his life, and Lee is happy to learn the trade. Aside from metalworking, his favourite hobby is experimenting with fire and coldfire - but he is always, always careful about it.
Lee enjoys nothing more than spending time with Anida and Deki, and would happily spend the rest of his life doing so. Once in a while he fantasizes about being more than just her friend, but he tries to be reasonable - with all the young men after her, he barely stands a chance. This doesn't bother him - he's perfectly content to be her friend.
The only time he ever gets at all aggresive is if Anida is in some way hurt or threatened. He would do anything imaginable to keep her safe and happy, and is willing to do whatever it takes to stop her from ever feeling upset in any way. The last time one of the men at the Inn got a little too drunk and went a little too far, he left town (this had partly to do with the twins and mostly to do with Lee).
